BumsCorner: You look familiar…where have I seen you before?
Mitsu: GONZORIFFIC GONZORIFFIC GONZORIFFIC!!!!!!! (SCAB, Disaster for Christmas, Socks + Violence, Cannibal Sisters)
BumsCorner: What’s your favorite Christmas movie?
Mitsu: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989) – I have to watch it every year at least 3 or 4 times – I have it on DVD too!
BumsCorner: Do you cook around the holidays, or let other people do the work?
Mitsu: A little from ‘Column A’ and a little from ‘Column B’ – I certainly love to cook, but I would never pass up yummies from friends and family. I LOVE food. It’s one of the perfect gifts.
BumsCorner: Any particular tunes get you in the Christmas spirit?
Mitsu:
- Merry Christmas (I don’t want to fight tonight) - Ramones
- Snowblind - Ace Frehley/KISS
- Christmas with the Devil – Spinal Tap
- Anything from the Sha Na Na ‘Rockin’ Christmas’ album
BumsCorner: Do you shop through the year, or last minute rush?
Mitsu: I try to shop through the year, specifically at thrift stores – it’s a goldmine for one of a kind gifts! Unfortunately, I end up running around last minute too.
BumsCorner: We’re having drinks with Santa later, any one particular gift we should tell him you want?
Mitsu: I really want a new kitchen please. If that order is too tall, then just a new stove, please. Or a vacuum cleaner. Or some snow :D | |  | |
BumsCorner: Snow: makes the spirit bright, or cold white death?
Mitsu: SNOW!!!!! I miss snow!!!! Don’t get very much in here in the South! I used to build igloos with my Momma when we lived in Japan – how cool is that??! I miss snow – I’ll take five to six feet of it please!
BumsCorner: Working on any cool projects you can tell us about?
Mitsu: I’m involved with Female Trouble, a female rock tribute band with my Gonzoriffic cohorts, and in pre-production of FAKE BLOOD.
BumsCorner: How do you REALLY feel about carolers?
Mitsu: Being that I used to be one long long ago, I have a soft spot in my heart for them. But seriously, when was the last time YOU saw a caroler? Do they even exist anymore?
BumsCorner: I’ve got some mistletoe I was going to sneak above the door before you left, should I even bother, or will you pretend you don’t see it and scurry out of here like the last girl?
Mitsu: I’d have to crush it into a mistle-DON’T – my husband is my one and only. I’d cut you if you tried. Don’t laugh, I’m serious.
BumsCorner: Have you been naughty or nice this year?
Mitsu: I think I’ve been nice this year…but I guess Santa will be the ultimate judge of that!
BumsCorner: What’s the all-time greatest TV Christmas special?
Mitsu: My all-time favorite is Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. However, A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas deserves a nod too.
BumsCorner: Screw all the Whos in Whoville…any final words for all the Bums in Bums Corner?
Mitsu: In Japan, December 23 is Emperor's Birthday (Tenno no Tanjobi): The birthday of the emperor (currently Emperor Akihito) is always a national holiday. If the emperor changes, the national holiday changes to the birthday date of the new emperor.
