Christmas with the Scream Queens - 2004: Debbie D | Our very first Scream Queen interview
|
|
 | | Scraps: What's your favorite Christmas movie?
Debbie: I like The Miracle on 34th Street
Scraps: Any songs get you in the Christmas spirit?
Debbie: "Silent Night"
Scraps: Do you shop early, or enjoy the last minute rush?
Debbie: I shop all year long
Scraps: Do you cook at home for your family and friends, or prefer to have other people do the work?
Debbie: I usually have a Christmas party gathering for close friends and visit others along the way.
Scraps: What’s your favorite all-time Christmas food?
Debbie: I like Christmas cookies - all kinds!
Scraps: What one gift are you really hoping for this year? Anything you love to give out to your friends and family?
Debbie: The gift of friendship is most precious to me! Seeing others and sharing laughs is what it's really truly about. Though, I myself love giving gifts!!
Scraps: Working on any projects right now that the BumsCorner community should know about?
Debbie: I'm working on two movies at once: A Vampire and A Ghost one. I work all through the seasons. It's my life!! | | | | Scraps: Snow...makes the season bright, or cold, wet white evil?
Debbie: I prefer the spring/summer weather the most and of course I live for Halloween but the snow is preferred for the holidays. The winter/cold weather also leaves one time to catch up on the paper work while shooting movies slows a tad!
Scraps: Christmas Carols...get you in the holiday spirit, or more like chewing on aluminum foil?
Debbie: The holiday songs are suppose to make one feel good but over the years it has put pressure on people to spend a lot of money and make time out of time so a lot of people do not feel truly what these songs are suppose to deliver. I wish we all could get back to the basis of Christmas some day. It seems if we all just baked cookies and made meals we wouldn't expect gifts and get angry and disappointed when we didn't get what we wanted. It would then force us to get back to the original meaning. Of course Christmas is for kids so we must keep that but tone it down a hundred times.
Scraps: Have you been naughty this year, or nice?
Debbie: I'm always naughty and nice everyday.
Scraps: Have anything nice to say about Rufus and Scraps, the Head Bums of BumsCorner?
Debbie: Rufus and Scraps are good people and original to have rounded us up at Christmas time. Not all Vampires are in hibernation at this time of year. I'm glad you have brought this to the attention of others!
Debbie, thanks again for taking a few moments to share with the BumsCorner community. We love you!!!! Merry Christmas! |
