I’m a fan of BumsCorner--it has more thoughtful and detailed reviews than most such sites.

Christmas with the Scream Queens - 2004:
Ryli Morgan
By popular demand, the Ryli Morgan interview.

RyliC.jpg
Scraps: What are your favorite Christmas movies?

Ryli: Hm, that's a good question. I know it's cliché', but I do like IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE.

Scraps: Any songs get you in the Christmas spirit?

Ryli: O HOLY NIGHT... preferably sung by Michael Crawford.

Scraps: Do you shop early, or enjoy the last minute rush?

Ryli: Last minute, all the way. Unless I just happen to find "the perfect gift" for someone early in the game.

Scraps: Do you cook at home for your family and friends, or prefer to have other people do the work?

Ryli: I do a little of both. We usually spend time with my parents at the holidays, and my mother still likes to cook, but I try to help as much as I can.

Scraps: What's your favorite all-time Christmas food?

Ryli: Turkey... maybe some ham. I'm a meat-and-potatoes girl.

Scraps: What one gift are you really hoping for this year? Anything you love to give out to your friends and family?

Ryli: The best gift I can get is just the time to spend with friends and family. That's what the holidays are all about, anyway. Gifts are just a bonus.

Scraps: Working on any projects right now that the BumsCorner community should know about?

Ryli: Actually, we do have a few things in the works. I'm in negotiations with Allied Horror for THE DEMONS 5, which is planned to star Robert Englund and Kane Hodder, among others. Also, there's a script in the works for TWILIGHT'S PARASITES for On Mark Productions. I'm collaborating on a music CD, as well.

Scraps: Snow...makes the season bright, or cold, wet white evil?

Ryli: Being from the South, snow is still a nice addition to the holiday, to me. But, also from being in the South, we do get ice storms occasionally.

Scraps: Christmas Carols...get you in the holiday spirit, or more like chewing on aluminum foil?

Ryli: Carols that are actually about the true meaning of Christmas are great, I think. It's the "Jingle Bells" and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"-type that I don't enjoy much.

Scraps: Have you been naughty this year, or nice?

Ryli: I've been naughty at times. But that can be nice. ;)

Scraps: Have anything nice to say about Rufus and Scraps, the Head Bums of BumsCorner?

Ryli: Just give them a squeeze for me.
