Scraps: What are your favorite Christmas movies?
Shy: My ultimate favorite Christmas movie is "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" and "A Christmas Story." Those are movies in my opinion that show what Christmas is truly like....at least in my house! LOL.
Scraps: Any songs get you in the Christmas spirit?
Shy: I love "Silent Night" and "Oh, Holy Night." My favorite Christmas CD is "A Very Special Christmas 2." It has versions of Christmas songs by Sting, Stevie Nicks, Whitney Houston, The Eurythmics, and many more.
Scraps: Do you shop early, or enjoy the last minute rush?
Shy: I usually try to shop a little early, but with as busy as I get I usually end up last minute shopping and even after Christmas shopping. That kind of works out with all the after Christmas Sales!! I swear it is not planned that way...HONEST!!
Scraps: Do you cook at home for your family and friends, or prefer to have other people do the work?
Shy: I LOOOOVE to cook and entertain during the holidays. This Thanksgiving I cooked for everyone and had a blast. I look forward to trying some new recipes for Christmas dinner!!
Scraps: What’s your favorite all-time Christmas food?
Shy: I don't know if I can choose?! My idea of the perfect Christmas meal is Turkey, mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, stuffing, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie with whipped cream!! My favorite part about it all has to be the pumpkin Pie!!
Scraps: What one gift are you really hoping for this year? Anything you love to give out to your friends and family?
Shy: I am really just hoping for some quality time with my family and friends. Sounds cheesy, I guess, but that's the truth. I love to give a bunch of little things in one big bag, gift certificates, and then always give them the gift of my famous brownies in a Christmas tin!! | |  | |
Scraps: Working on any projects right now that the BumsCorner community should know about?
Shy: In December 2004 me and my band "I DiGRESS" are coming out with our debut album "Justice!!" We are really excited as it is ready for radio and will promoted to all the major labels and we are hoping to be picked up by one of them. It is definitely an album that will put this band on the map. We also just finished our Music Video for our song "Drain" on that album!! We are working on setting up an independent regional tour coming this Spring 2005. Me and my partner John D'Angelo under our company I Digress Productions, Inc. will also be collaborating with others in the independent film world to start pre-production on our psychological thriller entitled "Figments!!" Scraps: Snow...makes the season bright, or cold, wet white evil?
Shy: I have lived in South Florida my entire life and have no idea what it is like to have snow on Christmas, but would love to experience it a few times. I have the feeling it is something you cannot describe!!
Scraps: Christmas Carols...get you in the holiday spirit, or more like chewing on aluminum foil?
Shy: It is a lot of fun to sing around a piano singing Christmas Carols with friends and family while sipping on some spiked egg nog!! I am however not too crazy on carolers singing in the neighborhood. That can just get downright annoying.
Scraps: Have you been naughty this year, or nice?
Shy: I would have to say that I have been pretty nice and naughty this year. If anybody says they have been nice all year long then you can tell who IS bluffing!! LOL.
Scraps: Have anything nice to say about Rufus and Scraps, the Head Bums of BumsCorner?
