Scraps: What are your favorite Christmas movies?
Lenora: Black Christmas & The Pee Wee's Playhouse Christmas special
Scraps: Any songs get you in the Christmas spirit?
Lenora: Christmas is pretty new to me as my parents are Jewish. I have to admit that I don't really care for most Christmas songs, but I like "Christmas Wrap" by The Waitresses. Klaus Nomi's version of "Silent Night" is really beautiful.
Scraps: Do you shop early, or enjoy the last minute rush?
Lenora: I shop for people all year. I have a lot of friends and I like to spoil them.
Scraps: Do you cook at home for your family and friends, or prefer to have other people do the work?
Lenora: I'm not exactly domestic. I have a pink hello kitty microwave but even that doesn't get much use.
Scraps: What’s your favorite all-time Christmas food?
Lenora: I love champagne. Who needs food when you have champagne.
Scraps: What one gift are you really hoping for this year? Anything you love to give out to your friends and family?
Lenora: I'd love a monkey, robot butler or ray gun that really worked. If I had my way I would give my father the role of James Bond in the latest 007 film. He'd really love that. For all of my friends I'd like to buy a giant pirate ship and fill it with those rainbow balls from Chuck E. Cheese. | |  | |
Scraps: Working on any projects right now that the BumsCorner community should know about?
Lenora: I have a role (playing myself) in Ramzi Abed's "Black Dahlia". It's got a wonderful cast which included my all time favorite director Alejandro Jodorowsky. The soundtrack also features the amazingly talented David J (Bauhaus, Love and Rockets) Ego Plum, Julee Cruise (Twin Peaks) and Nora Keyes (The Centimeters)
I just art directed my first film. It's called "The Three Trials" and is directed by Randy Grief. My nightclub APOCALIPSTICK lenoraclaire.com/apocalipstick is still going strong. The next one is December 18th and is Forbidden Zone themed. I'm also producing all kinds of cool avant garde events. One of which is Gidget Gein (formerly of Marilyn Manson) one man art/fashion show. If you live in LA, it's not to be missed. I've also got loads of photo shoots lined up and other fun stuff.
Scraps: Snow...makes the season bright, or cold, wet white evil?
Lenora: I grew up in Hollywood so snow is something you see when your tv is getting bad reception.
Scraps: Christmas Carols...get you in the holiday spirit, or more like chewing on aluminum foil?
Lenora: Make me wish there was snow, so I could throw snowballs.
Scraps: Have you been naughty this year, or nice?
Lenora: I've been naughty but in the wet willy kind of way. I love playing practical jokes on people. I guess I don't think it's naughty if it gets a laugh out of people. I suppose that makes me nice!

Lenora: I think you guys are boss! I promise you safety from my wet willy/titty twister wrath. |
