Gwenyth Love
Wait a second...besides writing fiction and doing articles for Pretty/Scary, Gwenyth also does web design? Why didn't we meet up with her a year and a half ago? Maybe BumsCorner wouldn't be the mess of html and bread twist-ties that it is today!

Scraps: What are your favorite Christmas movies?

Gwenyth: I've always been a sucker for White Christmas with Bing Crosby, and the original animated version of How The Grinch Stole Christmas. And for some reason, the often overlooked claymation version of The Little Drummer Boy brings tears to my eyes as well.

Scraps: Any songs get you in the Christmas spirit?

Gwenyth: Silver Bells is most likely the prettiest song I can think of when I think of Christmas, especially when you hear a really great version where they start doing the rounds. For something peppier I like Felice Navidad.

Scraps: Do you shop early, or enjoy the last minute rush?

Gwenyth: I'm a last minute do anything type of woman. I love the thrill of the chase.

Scraps: Do you cook at home for your family and friends, or prefer to have other people do the work?

Gwenyth: I actually prefer to do the work myself. I love to cook, and I love making people happy. Last year I made a turkey, ham, Swedish meatballs, garlic potatoes, garlic carrots, and mussels. It all turned out amazing too; I was pretty impressed with myself.

Scraps: What's your favorite all-time Christmas food?

Gwenyth: Eggnog of course. Eggnog plain, eggnog poundcake, eggnog cookies, it all has to have eggnog. Oh, and a honey sugar glazed ham is always great too.

Scraps: What one gift are you really hoping for this year?

Gwenyth: This will actually come out sounding kind of corny, but my boyfriend and I have been dealing with a long distance relationship since I moved three months ago. I'm kind of hoping that him coming to be with me here will be my Christmas present. That's all I really want for myself.

Scraps: Anything you love to give out to your friends and family?

Gwenyth: I always do one homemade gift and then one store bought. This way they get that touch of personal along with something they really wanted.

Scraps: Working on any projects right now that the BumsCorner community should know about?

Gwenyth: I'm working on so many it's hard to figure out which ones to mention. One of my co-writers and myself is working on a Vampire piece, that seems like it wants to turn into at least a trilogy. The first novel will be set during World War II. It's shaping up quite nicely. I myself have a bit of a shifters novel on the go as well as a romance novel I was actually asked to write. Oddly enough a dark children's tale has also been picking at my brains during my slumber and a bit of that has managed to make it's way onto paper as well.

Scraps: Snow...makes the season bright, or cold, wet white evil?

Gwenyth: My personal theory about snow is that it should be here only for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve until midnight. That's about as long as I can take the evil wet white stuff for.

Scraps: Christmas Carols...get you in the holiday spirit, or more like chewing on aluminum foil?

Gwenyth: I'd have to vote mostly for the foil, although as mentioned above, a few carols, when sung properly, can make this cold woman smile, at least for a moment or two.

Scraps: Have you been naughty this year, or nice?

Gwenyth: I'd like to say I have had a nice balance of both this year, but on going back and rereading through my journals, I'd have to lean more for the naughty side.

Scraps: Have anything nice to say about Rufus and Scraps, the Head Bums of BumsCorner?

Gwenyth: Regrettable I don't know much about the Rufus and Scraps, the Head Bums of BumsCorner, but I am hoping to rectify that problem in the near future.
